Halloween Wedding!… by A Better Sound!
It was October 31st, 2009… Dawn and Tom waited 5 years for this day, the day Halloween fell on a Saturday. They were planning on throwing the most elaborate, scary and fun Halloween Party anyone in New England had ever seen… and while they were at it… get married too!
They held both the ceremony and reception at Whispering Pines in southern Rhode Island. It was the perfect fall setting on the lake that gave it that eerie “Friday The 13th” Camp Crystal Lake feel to it.
Ghoulish music playing in the background greeted was heard as friends and family made their way down the haunted path that led to the haunted festivities. While a light fog dusted the grounds and surrounding trees, coffins held mechanical skeletons and other scary creatures that seemed to be reaching out to pull unknowing passers-by into their tomb, as they walked in to be seated for the ceremony. Red Lighting through the woods created a demonic background that reminded everyone there that at any moment… their time here on earth could come to a sudden, unexpected end. And if that wasn’t enough, soon the Grim Reaper on his black hooded robe entered the makeshift cemetery to marry our soon to be husband and wife.
Following the ceremony, cocktails dinner and dancing ensued with Music, Lighting and Entertainment provided by Stephen Scott Passarelli and his team at A Better Sound. The festivities went late into the night and all who attended had a wonderful and exciting time! After the reception, a large bonfire provided by Whispering Pines was the perfect setting to reflect on all the amazing sights, sounds and moments from this unique and very special day.

Stephen Scott Passarelli is a Chicago native and has a diverse background in the national broadcasting industry. He has over 20 years major market experience on-air and has been a part of CBS, NBC and other national network programming, talk shows and newscasts. He has been heard on WBBM-FM Chicago, WGN Chicago and Citadel Radio Networks. Stephen has been seen on and produced the NBC10/WJAR Television “Free Wedding Giveaway!” program. Stephen is currently producing and hosting the TV/DVD series, “The One Hour Wedding Planner.”
He has experience as an on camera television program host and has been featured in lead roles on television commercials, radio commercials, documentaries, industrial films, and live shows. Stephen has also has emceed numerous weddings, banquets and fund raisers around the world. He is a graduate of Harper College where he studied Speech, Communications and Liberal Arts.
